![]() ![]() Reason number 2 – and most likely you are already aware of this one – is the performance advantages. So Today I’m going to explain all the reasons why I choose to game at 1080P resolution in 2020, which combines technical reasons, visual differences, and obviously performance advantages. However, as you will see later in the article having native 1080P at 27-inches is actually a benefit versus having something high resolution at the same size and then lowering the resolution to 1080P. If I had said those words a few years ago, this would be a big no for me, because pixel density at 27-inches at 1080P isn’t ideal. ![]() The main reason why 1080P gaming is so important here is because of its size at 27-inches. For creative tasks this is a big no for me, but it does wrap around your vision slightly giving you a bit of a gaming advantage. It has a high refresh rate of up to 200Hz, Full HD 1080P resolution, a slight curve that I thought would be weird with a 16:9 monitor, but it’s actually nice. This monitor has given me new appreciation for 1080P gaming and all the specs on this monitor are kind of ideal.
